The 2009 Golden Heart Finalists group, THE RUBY SLIPPERED SISTERHOOD wanted a group blog and informational site that would allow each of the authors on the site to be featured, along with their upcoming books. They launched with a bang on the first day of the Submissions for the 2010 Golden Heart in September of 2009. Thanks to a lot of promotion work up front, the blog received a record-shattering 350 comments on their first post and over 1000 visitors on the first day. They managed to exceed even their most optimistic hopes and have had over 7000 comments on the blog in their first four months.
